Log into your learning platform (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, Moodle, or Coursera) and select Honorlock from the course menu.

Find your scheduled assessment and click Launch.

Agree to the Terms of Service and Test Taker Privacy Notice to proceed.

Review your System Compatibility and Exam Guidelines, then select Begin Authentication.

Environment & Device Setup
Depending on the requirements set by your exam administrator, you may be guided through some or all of the following verification steps:
Browser Check: Click Close Tabs to automatically close any unauthorized browser windows or extensions. |

BrowserGuard™: If enabled, select Continue. Unapproved applications or extra windows will be disabled during your assessment session. |
|
|
Camera & Microphone Permissions: When prompted, select Allow to give Honorlock access to your camera and microphone. |

Verification Steps
|
Face Detection: Center your face in the frame and select take photo. |
|
|
ID Scan: Hold your photo ID up to the camera and click Take Photo. |
|
|
ID ScanAlternative: If your ID fails to scan, select Other Options to upload a photo or scan a QR code using a mobile device. |

|
Microphone Check: Speak your name out loud to verify that your audio input level moves. |

|
Workspace Scan: Show your entire desk, room, and any permitted materials (such as scratch paper). Scan the on-screen QR code with your smartphone camera to take a landscape photo of your testing area. Note: The Chrome or Safari browser must be used on your mobile device, |

Screen Sharing & Launching Your Exam

Select Launch Screen Recording. |
|
|
Click on the image preview of your computer screen, then select Share. |
|
|
Select Focus Test Window to navigate to your assessment. |
|
|
Click Start Assessment to begin. |
