Organization Enablement

Before the feature is visible to exam administrators, it must be activated at the School or organizational level.

Customer Success Managers must work with the primary administrator to enable the feature.

Once enabled, the "Mobile Device" option becomes a toggle option in the Proctoring Exam Settings.
Administrative Exam Configuration
To utilize the Mobile App as a side-angle camera, exam administrators must configure a specific "Core Four of settings within the Honorlock dashboard. All four of the following must be toggled to "On":

Record Webcam (Primary face-forward view)

Use Side-Angle Webcam (Triggers the secondary requirement)

Allow Mobile Device as Webcam (Authorizes the Honorlock App as the source)

Room Scan (Records a 360 degree environment scan and triggers the camera feature within the Mobile App)
To use both the mobile app and the dual camera options, both features must be enabled at the school or organizational level before they can be activated at the exam level.

To enable, the following proctoring settings need to be toggled on per exam:

Record Webcam (Primary face-forward view)

Use Side-Angle Webcam (Triggers the secondary requirement)

Allow Mobile Device as Webcam (Authorizes the Honorlock App as the source)

Room Scan (Records a 360-degree environment scan and triggers the camera feature within the Mobile App)

Use Multiple Webcams (Allows both the front-facing camera to be active in addition to the side-angle webcam)
Note: The mobile app works only on phones. The mobile app is not compatible with iPads or tablets. Students will need to have Chrome downloaded on their phone and have the Chrome browser open when they use the Honorlock Mobile App.
