Changing or Disabling Permissions

If you select the block camera microphone option by mistake, the webcam will be disconnected.  You will need to enable those settings to continue your exam session.

To re-enable the camera and microphone permissions directly through the new window:

  • You will open the settings by clicking the slide bars in the upper-left corner of the window, to the left of app.honorlock.com.

  • Once permissions are granted, follow the prompts on the Honorlock Window to resume your exam.

    • This window may be behind the browser.

The In-Exam camera window is not visible.

  • Toggle the “Webcam” button on the Toolbar.

  • Locate the Honorlock window. Click the "Pop Out Webcam" button in the upper right corner of the window.  A new in-exam window will open.  You can drag the window anywhere on the screen.

In-Exam window is a Black Screen

Resolution: Simply close the in-exam window that is black and re-open it from the Honorlock proctoring window or the Honorlock Toolbar.
