Your instructor may require you to use an external camera while completing an Honorlock-enabled assessment. The following steps should be completed to select the external camera/microphone during the authentication steps.
When the face detection step populates, click on the three horizontal dots in the lower right corner of the proctoring window. This will open the available camera and microphone options.
Click on the dropdown menu for the camera/microphone and select the camera and microphone to be used during the assessment.
Click the X in the upper right corner of the camera and microphone box after you have made your selection. The camera/microphone selected are now ready to use.
