Simulated Exam toggle
The Simulated Exam toggle is a great option to allow you to customize a practice exam to allow students to familiarize themselves with Honorlock and its features/functionality prior to taking a high stakes assessment.
The Simulated Exam toggle appears to be a high stakes assessment to your students - it gives the appearance that students are being proctored, when they are not. You’ll have a record that the students completed the assessment. However, there’s no AI running during the assessment, no proctor interactions, and no recording available for you to refer to later on.

Faculty often choose to use simulated exams for the following reasons::
- To 'quiz' students on the syllabus in a non-secure way, while allowing them to become familiar with Honorlock
- As a practice exam for third party assessments
