The Simulated Exam toggle appears to be a high-stakes assessment to your test takers—it gives the appearance that test takers are being proctored when they are not. You’ll have a record that the test takers completed the assessment. However, there’s no AI running during the assessment, no proctor interactions, and no recording available for you to refer to later.
Exam administrators often choose to use simulated exams for the following reasons:
- To 'quiz' test takers on the syllabus in a non-secure way, while allowing them to become familiar with Honorlock.
- As a practice exam for third-party assessments.
