Reviewers record an outcome and summary for each session they review; review states appear and can be filtered on the Exam Results List, and every review is captured in an append-only history.
Within the session viewer, reviewers will be able to see the session list popover and review history.
Note: The outcome workflow view will require organization enablement.

The Session Viewer toolbar's Session List opens as a compact popover and can be dismissed without leaving the session. Rows show identity, key details, review count, and current review status, with search, filtering, and pagination. Selecting a session navigates to it.
Note: With the outcome workflow off, rows show the Reviewed /Not Reviewed status. With it on, rows show the outcome statuses.
Viewing Review History
Every review is recorded, whether or not it has an outcome, capturing the reviewer, the review start, the review end, and the active time in the Session Viewer. The history is append-only: later reviews add records and never edit or remove earlier ones.

Review history is recorded and viewable regardless of the Session Review Outcomes setting
Note: With the Outcomes settings off, the outcome element is not shown.
Enabling the Outcome Workflow
An administrator enables Session Review Outcomes at the account level. The setting is intended to be set once at the organization level. With the setting on, opening a session does not mark it reviewed; review state changes only through a review action. With it off, the existing flow remains unchanged, including the automatic marking of a session as reviewed when the Session Viewer opens.
Recording a Review Outcome
The bottom toolbar hosts the review workflow.
-
Left: the Session List entry and a read-only next-session indicator.
-
Right: the session's current status, the Review History entry with its count, and the review action. The action reads Finish review while a session is unresolved and Change outcome once resolved.

A reviewer records one of three outcomes:
-
Clean (Reviewed no Incident))
-
Confirmed Incident (Resolved)
-
Further Review Required (Open).
A review summary is required for confirmed incidents and further review, and is optional for reviewed no incidents. Choosing Decide later records the review without an outcome and leaves the existing status unchanged. Once saved, the reviewer can go to the next session, stay, or return to the results list.
Sessions can be reviewed any number of times; a later review can reopen a resolved session.
Understanding Session Statuses
Each session carries one status:
-
No status — default; no one has reviewed the session
-
Needs review — sessions Honorlock recommends for review
-
Further review — reviewed and escalated; open
-
Clean — reviewed and resolved with no issue
-
Confirmed Incident — reviewed and resolved with a confirmed incident
-
No action taken — reviewed without an outcome, applied only when the session had no prior status or outcome
Anyone with access to review a session can record an outcome.
Finding sessions from the Exam Results List
When enabled, the Exam Results List displays each session's review status, allowing for filtering by this status. If no status is indicated, it means there is no progress. Sessions recommended for review by Honorlock are marked as "Recommended by Honorlock." Outcomes are recorded in the Session Viewer, and each row provides access to the session's review history.
FAQs
Q: Can an outcome be edited or deleted?
A: No. The history is append-only. To change a decision, a reviewer performs a new review with Change outcome, which becomes the latest record; the prior record remains.
Q: What is the difference between No status and No action taken?
A: No status means no one has reviewed the session. No action taken means a reviewer reviewed it and chose not to record an outcome, and the session had no prior status or outcome to preserve.
Q: Who can record an outcome?
A: Anyone with access to review the session can record an outcome. The status shown on the Exam Results List is read-only.
Q: Can a resolved session be reopened?
A: Yes. Any later review can record a new outcome, including Further review, which reopens it.
Q: If the setting is turned off after use, is the review data lost?
A: No. Recorded history is preserved and remains viewable; the outcome workflow simply becomes unavailable.
