How to force quit Chrome

If you receive the below error when starting your assessment, it's important that you correctly force quit out of Chrome. Please see the below instructions for both Windows and Mac devices.

Mac:

1) Locate the Chrome browser icon on the dock (the bar of icons that sits at the bottom or side of the screen). 

2) Right-click on the browser icon and select Quit.

3) Please open your Chrome browser again and head back to your test.

Windows:

1) Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to bring up the task manager. Otherwise, type the words "Task Manager" into the search bar at the bottom-left of the computer.

2) In the Task Manager, select Google Chrome and click End Task or End Process to completely exit out of Chrome.

3) Please open your Chrome browser again and head back to your test.
